Sailing Home . . .

Today was our last full day at sea. Tomorrow we are scheduled to arrive in Nassau around 10AM, and leave there around 7PM to sail overnight back to Miami.


We made reservations to attend the breakfast with the Nickelodeon characters this morning and despite Matthew’s best efforts, we managed to get a few pictures of the kids with Sponge Bob, Patrick, Dora, Diego, and Jimmy Neutron. Matthew as a little disappointed that Ang wasn’t there for the show and the meet and greet.

After the Nick breakfast, we went out to the pool and spent several hours relaxing there, and then it was time to clean up and find a late lunch for the kids. We all played the final game of bingo and wandered around the ship a bit. Tonight, we dined at Cagney’s the steakhouse on board. We’ve been grooming the kids all week for “fancy dinner” and tonight was the night. Dinner was quite nice – even if the kids skipped the starter, the salad, and most of the sides.

After dinner, the kids begged to go to Recess again, so Ken and I visited the casino and the ice bar for a bit before rounding them up again. Everyone is finally settled in tonight.

We’re looking forward to our excursion to The Atlantis tomorrow!
